Ministry of Oil of the Republic of Iraq signs the first principles contract of Al Faw Investment Filter and building a petrochemical complex, which is considered the biggest project of Iraqi oil industry, in order to enhance the role of Iraq manufacturing & petrochemicals fields.

          In this regard, Mr. Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismail mentioned that this project will enhance the role of Iraq in manufacturing and petrochemical industries, stressing the importance of strengthening the role of international investment in manufacturing and petrochemical industries.

           It should be noted that this project capacity is around 300,000 barrels per day, while the petrochemical complex has a capacity of 3 million tons.
