As part of ICCIA’s efforts to promote microfinance, create sustainable job opportunities and encourage entrepreneurship in Africa, ICCIA is glad to announce its regional forum entitled “Microfinance in Africa: Promising Opportunities and an Innovative Model “, which will be held under the auspices of the First Lady of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, on Dec. 19-20 ,2022, in Nouakchott – Mauritania, and in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs, Children and Family of Mauritania, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Mauritania (CCIAM), Albaraka Forum for Islamic Economy and the Islamic Chamber Training Academy.
The Forum comes to complement ICCIA’s workshop series “Microfinance Directions – Regional & International Experiences”, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of microfinance, discussing innovative approaches to overcome its challenges, and exploring the most successful regional and international experiences in this field.
