Within the framework of the Islamic Chamber’s endeavors aiming to strengthen the south- south cooperation, H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi, ICCIA Secretary General delivered the opening remarks today at the General Forum of Directors General of South-South Cooperation for Development, emphasizing ICCIA’s tireless efforts to reach comprehensive and sustainable development across the Islamic world.
In an effort to promote sustainability all over the world, H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi highlighted, during his opening remarks at the forum, the necessity to optimize the use of the available resources, and invest them to serve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Furthermore, His Excellency stressed the dire need to join forces for creating a better future for the next generations and strengthening capacity for addressing the various crises that face the world, indicating: “We must cooperate, unite and take over responsibility, since this cooperation is no longer a luxury, but it is our only choice today for protecting the next generations”.
