There is no doubt about the importance and the necessity of sustainable tourism as an essential pillar for achieving sustainable and comprehensive development. Therefore, it has received an increased international attention in recent years, especially in the context of Covid-19 Pandemic, which raised questions about the opportunities and challenges of achieving a sustainable tourism.
The webinar shall tackle the following points:
• The concept of sustainable tourism and its critical importance.
• The needed efforts that should be exerted on the national, regional and global levels for developing a sustainable, responsible and high- quality tourism.
• The importance of optimizing the use of the available resources to achieve a sustainable tourism.
• The challenges that face sustainable tourism globally and how to combat them.
