The inauguration of the Iranian Trade Center in Damascus, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Reza Fatemi Amin, the Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Mr. Gholam Hossein Shafei, President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA), Mr. Kiwan Kashefy, President of Irani- Syrian Chamber of Commerce, and a number of senior officials of economic and commercial affairs in Iran and Syria, aiming to facilitate trade exchange and strengthen trade relations between the two parties.
In this regard, H.E. Mr. Reza Fatemi Amin, the Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, mentioned that the two parties have agreed to enhance their mutual economic relations by increasing investments, exchanging experiences & researches, highlighting the importance of this trade center as a promising opportunity for increasing trade between the two parties.
On the other hand, Mr. Gholam Hossein Shafei, President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA), pointed out that the center works as an information bank that supports importing, exporting and marketing, stressing its importance in strengthening economic relations between the two countries.
From his part, Mr. Kiwan Kashefy, President of Irani- Syrian Chamber of Commerce, declared that this center is the first of its kind located in Syria, indicating that it includes commercial offices that enable Iranian companies from the private sector to carry out trade exchanges between the two countries.
It is worth mentioning that the inauguration of the Iranian Trade Center in Damascus coincides with the exhibition of Iranian products, which was launched in the exhibition city in Damascus, in which 164 commercial and industrial companies participate.
