As part of ICCIA’s tenacious commitment to drive the economic development of its member countries forward, H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi, ICCIA Secretary General, met with Mr. Mammad Musayev, President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK), in order to discuss prospects for joint cooperation between the two parties with a view to serving the interests of the Islamic countries.
In that context, H.E. Mr. Youssef Khalawi touched upon the Sustainable Agriculture Forum which will be held in Azerbaijan in 2023, pointing out its role in advancing the sustainable development in the region.
Out of Azerbaijan’s position as an investment hub in the Islamic world, the meeting addressed the Azerbaijani investment environment, as well as the export potentials to the Islamic countries, and how does that lead to development of the Azerbaijani economy and the Islamic world at large.
Furthermore, H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi pointed out the Global Muslim Business Forum which will be held in 2023 in Malaysia as an opportunity to expand cooperation between Muslim entrepreneurs, contributing to the advancement of the Islamic entrepreneurship globally.
