A memorandum of understanding between Russia & UAE

           As part of the climate mitigation, and on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC), a memorandum of understanding has been signed between H.E. Mr. Dinis Manturov, Minister of Industry & Trade of the Russian Federation and H.E. Mr. Sultan Ahmed El Jaber, Minister of Industry & Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, on strengthening cooperation between the Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates in developing H2 techniques.

        In this regard, H.E. Mr. Sultan Ahmed El Jaber, Minister of Industry & Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, mentioned that this MOU is an integral part of UAE`s strategic vision that aims at promoting international cooperation towards sustainable development, declared that the United Arab Emirates government is working on more than 7 projects for producing clean Hydrogen, highlighting that cooperation with the Russian Federation according to international standards would help in developing the infrastructure of UAE.    

        On the other hand, H.E. Mr. Dinis Manturov, Minister of Industry & Trade of the Russian Federation, highlighted the importance of Hydrogen Energy for sustainable urbanization & green growth, stressing the necessity of combined efforts & resources to accelerate the process of developing Hydrogen techniques and promoting joint projects in the international markets.
