Food Export Council of Egypt declared that during the first half of 2021, Egypt food exports for Arab countries increased by 10%, compared to the same period of the last year, and reached $ 1.27 billion, indicating that KSA is the largest importer of food from Egypt with about $ 177 million, followed by Libya, Sudan, Algeria, Yemen and United Arab Emirates.

         The council also noted that Egypt exports of food industries in the first 8 months of 2021 increased by 17% and reached $ 2.752 billion, compared to $ 2.354 billion.
