Digital Transformation Workshop

In the context of the remarkable transformation towards sustainability, the concept of Digitalization has received worldwide attention, as a functional mechanism for achieving sustainable development, increasing business efficiency through innovation.

Accordingly, more governments, private sector enterprises and international organizations have exerted great efforts to apply digital transformation, especially in the current context of Corona pandemic, through formulating mutual principles, guidelines & criteria, then applying it to internet activities.

As an effort to develop an effective strategy for digital transformation, especially among OIC Chamber of Commerce, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be organizing a workshop entitled “Digital Transformation” as part of the activities of the greatest exhibition event over the world, Expo 2020 Dubai.

This workshop will recur in two days on the 26th November 2021 at 15:00 – 17:00 and the 27th November 2021 at 19:00- 21:00, at Terra Auditorium / Dubai Expo. It aims at creating a vision among OIC chambers and setting a digital transformation agenda to establish a strategic plan to guide the chambers of Commerce, SMEs, and private sector in contributing to private sector development.

Through this workshop, an interactive discussion will be held among a selection of representatives from ICCIA Member Chambers, SMEs and private sector companies, which results in spreading awareness of the need to transform and adopt new techniques and technologies, hence establishing a more effective, sustainable & productive business climate.
