The Secretary General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA), H.E. Mr. Yousef Khalawi, paid a visit to Bosnia on August 3, 2023, to promote cooperation and investment opportunities between ICCIA and the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovin. As part of his visit, Mr. Khalawi met with the Vice-President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Ahmet Egrlic, at the Chamber’s headquarters to discuss ways of boosting economic ties and strengthening bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the two leaders engaged in a productive dialogue on potential areas of collaboration, including trade, investment, and private sector activities. Mr. Khalawi expressed his appreciation for the Chamber’s efforts in promoting trade and investment activities, as well as its support for the private sector.
In recognition of ICCIA’s willingness to support its member chambers, Mr. Egrlic presented a shield to Mr. Khalawi, expressing his gratitude for the organization’s commitment to enhancing economic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and other member countries.
