Launching a new navigation shipping service between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Djibouti, through “Transmar”, the leading company in this field. This service includes more than 100 standard container per week, in order to facilitate trade, promote investments, thus increasing the volume of bilateral trade and enhancing mutual economic cooperation between the two parties.
          In this regard, a statement issued by Mawani Company declared that the launching of such a service is an important step for enhancing the Kingdom’s exports of petrochemicals in the African region, and increasing transhipment, shipping and transporting goods within Saudi ports. Furthermore, the statement mentioned that this project will make a qualitative leap in the maritime transport and logistics industry, and to enhance the strength of linking Saudi ports with the ports of the world, thus contributing to the consolidation of the Kingdom’s position as a leading global logistics center.
