The economic file occupied the bulk of the topics of the 42nd Gulf Summit, that has been held on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021 in Riyadh, the Capital of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, whereas the need to enhance the Gulf cooperation to face economic challenges & promote investment in areas of clean & sustainable energy has been highlighted.
It should be noted that the economic file of the summit was based on the implementation of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, approved by the Supreme Council in 2015, which is related to the transition from cooperation to union in an effort to enhance the ties among the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
